An unexplainable event~
At the turn of the 20th century, a large asylum called Bridgewater Asylum was built in the outskirts of Springfield, Illinois. Patients and criminals came into the asylum knowing they would never see the light of day again. They were treated like caged animals at a zoo. Chained, beaten, and their spirits broken, they waited for the day the "patients" waited for the day they would be set free.
20 years after Bridgewater was built, it caught on fire and burnt to the ground with all of its patients inside. No one was quite sure what caused the fire. Some say it was the prisoners of the asylum that wanted to get back at their captors. Others say it was a common fire that escalated because no one wanted to go near the asylum. It became forgotten. Not even a memory.

Welcome to Riverside Academy, built in 1999.
The year is now 2013 and the academy has now been accepting students. It is rumored that the school was built on top of the ruins of an old insane asylum. Who believes rumors nowadays?
The Riverside Academy learning experience is one of the best in the country. It would be a shame if one were to not at least apply for such a prestigious school. However, many have avoided this school for the very reason of the rumor saying it was built over an asylum.
That being said, the school has been denying any claims to such an accusation.
We welcome students to find out for themselves. But beware, looking for danger isn't always the wisest choice.
