Personality:

It isn't enough for one to simply say "nobody likes Andrija" and leave it at that when describing him-- although it certainly explains a lot, he's still much more than just a walking trash-talking ego.

But the ego is usually what he's best remembered by. 'Arrogant', 'hotheaded', 'temperamental' and 'mean' all immediately come to mind when thinking of him, and they're all true-- the Croat is purposefully spiteful and cruel with a nasty temper, and moods as predictable as a landmine. He is a proud person who doesn't handle insults very well, always insisting that he's the best, especially when presented with a challenge. He's also a bit vain about his appearance and it definitely shows.
All in all, he's difficult to get along with and has definitely earned his reputation as one of the biggest bitches in school.

However, far, far beneath that shallow egomaniac exterior, most wouldn't guess how self-depreciative he actually is-- as someone that pushes for nothing less than the best, he's very hard on himself. Andrija knows he isn't perfect, he just acts like he is, and ripping into others' insecurities is the only way he knows how to forget his own sometimes. Weakness is not an option.

Once you actually get to know him, however, he can be quite sweet and caring, but so far nobody's enjoyed his company enough to wait around for it.

Family: Two not-so-pleasant parents, Mihovil and Jelena, and two older brothers, Emerik and Dragan, all who made the move from Croatia some time ago.

History:

The first impression you might gather upon a single glance at Andrija is that you're looking at just another spoiled, rich brat and nothing more, and he would probably like you to think that, because it certainly is a nicer explanation than his real background.

Born the youngest of three brothers in Croatia, Andrija grew up in a household where nothing less than excellence would be tolerated, in a sense. Of course, he was always the odd child out-- while he watched his siblings almost immediately submerge into success, his own dreams and ideals seemed to develop into anything and everything his parents would never approve of. Hearing how disappointed his father is or how ashamed his mother feels bringing him up in conversation are normal, everyday occurrences to him by now. The consistent verbal abuse raised a perfectionist out of the Croatian boy, setting up the shallow facade he displays around the school to this day.
